Docker

Docker is a container management software. It is a tool for developers and sysadmins to create, deploy, and run applications. It simplifies the process of using containers by acting as a lightweight virtualization environment. It was created in 2013 by Solomon Hykes and the Docker company. Docker was initially created to make it easier to manage Linux containers. Docker was designed to work on any operating system, and was also designed to be API-compatible with the existing LXC containers.
